Rail11 11-Pin Relay Base Mini-PLC Kit: Order Code - Rail11 GREAT FOR QUICK DEVELOPMENT Kit includes 11-pin box and plug-base to fit standard 11-pin relay socket base. The CPU is a MEGA8 TQFP (normally MEGA8L) with internal RC oscillator, and the SMD PCB supports a DS1307 RTC (with 32,768kHz crystal and Lithium Battery backup) and a 24Cxx serial memory (both on the same bus, 'hard' addressed). Also, the board has a 16pin DIL header for LCD modules (a 2x8 fits nicely in the enclosure top, see thumbnail). The digital inputs connect to INT0, T1 and ADC0 (ADC0 also has an additional 0805 form factor to 0V, if a divider is required). Optically isolated outputs connect to PC.1, PD.1 (TxD) and PB.3 (OC2) enabling serial data, PWM, etc. A divider directly on the Vdd input connects to ADC2 for voltage monitoring. The board contains populated, as standard, the CPU, a piezo buzzer, two indicator LED's and two tactile switches. The programming interface is a 6-pin header. All inputs may also be protected by AVX 0805 form-factor suppression devices, and a serial resistor (i.e. an 0805 to 0V and an 0805 to the data pin).

Screw-type terminals for Power (AC/DC 9-16V to full bridge), IO's. 5V regulator supply also available on two sets of terminals for ease of sensor/module integration. AVR Mega8L or Mega8 (on request) configured to run off internal RC oscillator, standard 6pin ISP header for in-circuit programming. Integrates with Display Module 7Disp01. LCD modules (e.g. 2x16 Char) also easily integrated due to pinouts on header. Board uses through-hole components for ease of assembly. Combination Kit - 7Disp01 and DualC01 Includes Kit 7Disp01 and Kit DualC01, as well as: A header strip suitable for connecting the two modules, Bolts and nuts, as well as standoffs, to connect the two boards prior to soldering the header strip (Note for assembly!) and to provide additional mechanical strength. Temperature sensor - Order Code TempSense01-xx Temperature sensor, Dallas DS18B20, mounted with 1.5m 2-core Mylar leaped and screened cable. Sensor splash-proof and immersion proof (short periods, non-corrosive liquids). Has been successfully used in aquariums for extended periods. Supplied standard with 1.5m cable, order with code '-xx' where 'xx' denotes amout of cable required for sensor, if required. Max 10m (Note for developers: Successfully tested at 15m).
